Emere Nieves grew up on Humboldt Parkway and a local alumni from SUNY Buffalo State College. Through her private education and grandmother's guidance, she has grown a lifelong relationship with the land through the means of gardening. Emere volunteers with several non profits in Buffalo NY, and is also a serial entrepreneur and co-investor with her spouse, restoring old homes in Buffalo and educating the public on housing.
